Band Students Perform at BGPS District Festival

March 3, 2016


The ninth annual Battle Ground Public Schools Band Festival will take place on Tuesday, March 8 in the Prairie High School Auditorium, 11311 NE 119th St., Vancouver. All middle and high school band programs in the district will be represented at the day-long event, and there is no admission charge.

In addition, students and teachers will receive written and verbal feedback from distinguished music educators in attendance. After each performance, a visiting director will provide an interactive workshop for students. 

Bands will perform at the following times:

8:45 a.m. – Prairie Symphonic Band
9:10 a.m. – Laurin 8th Grade Symphonic Band
9:35 a.m. – Chief Umtuch 8th Grade Band
10:00 a.m. – Maple Grove 7th & 8th Grade Band
10:25 a.m. – Pleasant Valley 8th Grade Band
10:50 a.m. – Tukes Valley 8th Grade Symphonic Band
11:15 a.m. – Amboy Advanced Band
11:40 a.m. – Daybreak 8th Grade Band
12:05 p.m. – Lunch break
12:45 p.m. – Battle Ground Wind Ensemble
1:10 p.m. – Prairie Wind Ensemble
