GHP Cubbies Enjoy 20 years of Popcorn Friday

September 19, 2014

The smell of hot, buttered popcorn has wafted through the halls of Glenwood Heights Primary every Friday for at least 20 years, courtesy of the school's Parent Teacher Organization. Students can buy a bag of popcorn for 25 cents.

The PTO uses the funds to buy classroom equipment such as media projectors. The process begins before school, when parents volunteer to pop the corn,

and continues through the morning as students bring their class bags to collect and distribute the yummy snack.
