Houses springing up in BG = more children

September 13, 2013

Increasingly, there are signs of residential construction picking up the pace in the Battle Ground School District, and that means more children coming to our schools. Here are three developments under way. (Photos were shot Sept. 5 and Sept. 9.)

A 24-house phase of Wingate Crossing subdivision is going in immediately south of Daybreak Middle and Primary schools. South of there on Northwest 20th Avenue, near Main Street, the Meadow View apartments will have 56 units.

Workers at the Copper Leaf subdivision on the west side of Parkway at Southwest
Ninth Street are plenty busy finishing these houses. Several others in the
development are already occupied.

These are among the large houses going in at Falcon's Nest on Southest
142nd Avenue in the extreme south end of the school district.

These Falcon's Nest lots await buyers and builders. Eventually, Falcon's Nest
will have 200 homes.
