The FCRC coordinates services that assist all students and families with needs including clothes, shoes, coats, school supplies, backpacks and many other seasonal and specific needs. The FCRC also serves students and families identified as homeless and students in foster care. Battle Ground Public Schools implements the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, which ensures that students living in unstable living situations have full access and transportation to their school of origin along, with services to support their educational success. The Foster Care Student Education Program was implemented as part of the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015. We ensure that students in foster care have access to transportation and services that support their educational success in their school of origin. It's our pleasure to provide your student and family with these services throughout the 2019-20 school year, and we look forward to working with you.
