2017–18 COMMUNITY REPORT | 11
In 2017-18, Battle Ground's educational programs, maintenance and operations levy provided
educational programs and facility services that enable the district to focus on the whole child and
engage students in quality learning environments. Voters approved a four-year replacement levy in
February, 2017. Beginning in 2018-19, changes to how the state funds public education means that
local levies will be capped for Washington school districts.
