We empower students to reach their goals in innovative ways that make the most of the educational dollars we are given. The graduation rates of our comprehensive high schools are higher than the state average by more than 6 percentage points, while the district's per-pupil spending is less than the state average. Levy funding allows the district to keep class sizes small, equip students with social-emotional life skills and provides for curriculum, technology and extra-curricular activities. Battle Ground's allocation of $27.1 million in 2019-20 includes $3.7 million of levy equalization funds from the state. *These rates do not include the state schools property tax rate ($2.85 per $1,000 of assessed value in 2019-20). **BGPS current bond expires December 2023. ***Green Mountain serves K–8 students only.
