Safe and caring school environment Safety upgrades improve security Battle Ground Public Schools has been working to enhance security on school campuses. Trim hedges and other vegetation to improve visibility and line of sight on campuses. Replace or add gates and fencing on every campus to limit public access during school hours. Create double-door entryways at schools to control access to the rest of the building.* Install new audio-visual entry systems.* Add automatic locks to doors. Place additional campus security at middle schools to provide positive support for students and other staff members. *To be completed during the 2022-23 school year. SAFETY IS A TOP PRIORITY IN BGPS.
