This is a one- day workshop teaching the basics of costuming and stage makeup and how to create a mold of your face, a customized latex mask, and creating and attaching makeup prosthetics. This workshop is perfect for creating a replica of your face or a total transformation into another being or creature. Perfect for parties, video shoots, role play games, and costume competitions that are surely coming up this fall. Can be adapted to represent a variety of looks. Students will learn how to cut glass, use a grinder, grout and finish a beautiful piece of art to give as gifts or take home for themselves. The class will run four weeks, the first two weeks will be a Welcome Sign, and the second two weeks will be the Students' Choice Workshop.
