STRATEGIES: • We effectively incorporate and develop 21st Century Skills (Core Subjects and 21st Century Themes, Learning and Innovation Skills, Information Media and Technology Skills, and Life and Career Skills) through interactive and diverse learning environments. • We utilize and promote critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and effective communication skills. GOAL 2: High school graduation, combined with career and college readiness, support the future success of all students. STRATEGIES: • Student centered instruction is differentiated according to individual needs, talents, and interests. • Individualized career and college plans include internships, externships, and "real world" learning experiences. FOCUS AREA Innovative Programs GOAL 3: After school sport and activity opportunities at every school enhance the educational experience for students. STRATEGIES: • Schools offer a variety of sports/ activities related to student interests. GOAL 4: 21st century programs reflect individual student interests and the needs of a global economy. STRATEGIES: • A variety of Instructional programs support the career and college interests of students as well as their unique learning needs. STRATEGIES: • We provide professional development to support employee growth. • Evaluations provide feedback for employees to focus their professional growth. GOAL 6: High quality employees are recruited and retained. STRATEGIES: • A professional, respectful and open culture creates an environment which attracts and retains highly qualified staff.
