The district has received approval from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to forgive two district wide snow related closure days and the emergency related closure day from September 11, 2013, which impacted five schools. This leaves the district three snow days to make-up. These three additional days have been approved for the end of the school year, making Friday, June 20, the last day of school.
The 2013-14 School Calendar has been updated with these changes and can be found on the district website www.battlegroundps.org/calendars.
Additional information on school schedule, impact to graduating seniors, and changes in staff days can be found below.
The three snow make-up days have been added to the end of the school calendar during the week of June 16 – 20. Students will attend full days Monday through Friday during this final week of school. This will allow teachers to continue their lessons and maximize students’ time in the classroom.
Please note: High School graduation dates will remain the same for all high schools in June 2014. Additional information for graduating seniors and families is below.
For additional graduation information and senior make up days please contact your school office.
